Fall Trail riding….
It’s Labor Day and the fall trail riding season has begun. Wonderful weather – not too hot not too much humidity and nice breezes every single day made for great riding.
Our Labor Day tradition includes a trip to Slabtown Trailrides in Roby Missouri.
You can ride out of Slabtown through the Mark Twain National Forest and The Paddy Creek Wilderness Area. You have your choice of rough and rocky terrain or soft and smooth woodland trails.
Crossing Paddy Creek and the Big Piney River will give your horses or dogs ample cooling off time with lots of water.
It is possible to ride all day or only ride a few hours. The area includes numerous caves and scenic overlooks to visit with views that don’t disappoint.
